James is the newest member of the 80's Flashback. He has been performing for a number of years playing in various live settings with jazz ensembles, in musicals and as a solo artist. He enjoys playing in a number of different styles, from pop rock, to jazz, to synthesised electronica.
He is currently studying Social Work and Music at the University of Sydney with a focus on composition and digital music as well as sharing his knowledge through his piano teaching.
Along with being an awesome keys player, James is a extremely accomplished saxophonist. You will be seeing and hearing this in the 80's Flashback sets from time to time.
And if you're curious, yes, James will be using the 80's keytar. James isn't as old as the keytar but is really looking forward to sharing the stage with the 80's icon.
